I sit here cold, but relaxed as he holds me tight.
Not able to see the stars because New York is too bright.
He takes me to a place where my thoughts are free.
Where I’m always right, and nobody can disagree.
The wind flows through my body as negativity leaves,
Leaving me alone with only what I believe.
My arms feel natural wrapped around his neck,
He kisses me softly, my heart is a wreck.
His touch alone makes my body shake.
He’s the only person to accept my mistakes.
My heart beats faster and I think this is a dream.
I open my eyes and can see the sun beam.
I feel the warmth of the rays hugging my face.
This is one memory no one can erase.
My heart jumps into my throat when he gives me that look,
just a little worried that my heart he took.
Everytime I see him, behind my hello,
is a certain feeling he will never know.
